I know Keiland Williams is a talented player and i wanted him to come to LSU but if he doesnt sign by today i pull his offer and let him go to USC or Ole Piss.

Like someone else said this is about doing what is right by LSU and it looks bad for the University and at some point it actually starts hurting our program.

As i have stated on Tigerbait i am dissapointed in this kid even if he does sign with us.

And it isnt about what he can do on the field. Miles has to let everyone know that no one kid is bigger than the team.

If this is how the kid conducts himself i am not sure i want him.

He let a lot of people down today .

And now if he does sign with us he turned what should have been a celebration with his family into a drama and i wonder how people who paid for the Bash will feel if he signs tommorow.

I am a big fan of Integrity and i cant believe i am saying this but i dont want him now. He may go on to win the Heisman at LSU but i will not forget the way he conducted himself on this day and it will always be there when i think of him.

Maybe i will feel different in the future but i am really dissapointed.

    kinda agree with you...

if you arent 100 percent sure of what college you want to go to and play for.

    DONT VERBALLY COMMIT.

Maybe Miles shouldn't accept a LOI from someone who changes his commitment to LSU on signing day ... if that's how a kid conducts himself, I'm sure you don't want him either, right?

    *sigh*, again...

This is a kid. Were you sure of everything when you were his age? If he isn't sure, he needs to take some time to know he is doing what is right for him.

Yes, kids play games, but I really believe this kid isn't. I think he is getting a lot of pressure from all sides that has him questioning everything. I hope when all is said and done he is a Tiger, but I also want him to be sure that is what he wants when he signs with LSU.

that's why you aren't the coach and thankfully so.

you can be disappointed all you want. it simply means you're too emotionally wrapped up in an 18 year olds commitment.. one that les knows is key to completing a great class.

kw is simply thinking long and hard on his current commitment to LSU. let him decide what's best and if its LSU then its meant to be. if it hurts your feelings he's uncertain, that's on you.

    its simply business.

To some point you guys are right but you can not let a kid think he is bigger than the team either.

Maybe it is just because i am pissed at the way he has treated the University i care about.

Even if he signs with LSU he has hurt himself a little .

And yes i dont think very much of what Ryan P did last year either.
It is a similar situation and how do you think Texas people felt last year.

Just because it worked out in LSU favor doesnt mean what the kid was right.

I think for the teams sake, he's worth waiting a few more days for. Like Tirk said, who else of that caliber is out there worthy of a scholly, like this kid is. It's better to be undecided now than to be unhappy after signing and not playing up to his potential. Imagine how you guys would feel then....

damn this is a big decision for a kid. if you can't understand that and think they should pull the offer then your not very bright or you just can't understand the stress on these kids because you are too emotionally wrapped up in the situation which i beleive is the case.

    Put yourself in this situation:

You are a 4.0 student and you want to study a major that Havard, princeton, and brown offer. Havard and Princeton are tops in the field in. You let everybody know your going to havard, but then you sit and think about it 15 hours a day for weeks. Your best friend is already at princeton and your good friend who is on the debate team is going to brown. They are calling you everyday telling you to goto their school. You get calls from the presidents of each university saying they hope you choice their school and its much better then the other. Your getting phone calls from famous alumni from yale and princeton. The new proffessor at Brown is promising you the world. You have pressure from every wheres. Now who do you choose? If you choice the worng one then your future could be in jeapordy. Make the call!

Not as easy as you think.
