When I first arrived here, I was bombarded with the cocky world beater attitude that many of you LSU fans have. I made statements like: That wasn't recieved very well and I was given the names of playmakers on your offense and was told that you were not in the least bit worried about your defense that has given up 22.5ppg against less than stellar SEC foes. Not worried at all. I was also mocked with how the Gators just squeaked by UT, Miami and was beaten by Ole Miss. I was told that when I made the statement that you haven't played anyone yet. I believe his name is TheDude. His "actual facts" didn't really hold up in the game and he told me I pointed out your suspect defense. I pointed out your unproven QB and how it would be difficult for him to go into the Swamp and be effective. Hmmmm. Well, Dude, since you wanted actual facts to support this--here's an actual fact: 51-21. For all of you cocky people out there that didn't want to hear what I had to say, sit back and marinade on this a while. Judging by the remainder of your schedule, I'm looking forward to playing Alabama in Atlanta. For all of you guys that were gracious like JayB and others, good luck with the rest of your season. Hope it's injury free and you guys can regroup.
I don't believe Florida played Ole Miss. Oh yeah, they did. Oops. See you in Atlanta, when things will be quite different.
Yeah, It will be different. You'll be watching us against Bama. You will lose at least 2 more, probably Georgia and Alabama. Your remaining schedule is much tougher than what the Bammers have left.
We're going to be licking our wounds for a few days over this one. It hurt; there's no one that will be able to admit it didn't. Florida executed perfectly, and we absolutely didn't. Jarrett Lee looked every bit the freshman that he is, with occasional glimpses as to the player he'll become in a season or two. Charles Scott was completely ineffective, as our OL could open no holes. Our defense was continually a step or two short. Congratulations on your win. That Ole Miss loss must really piss you guys off now--because you'd be sitting at #1 tomorrow if Houston Nutt hadn't come into your house and knocked you off.
