    Dandy Don's Dec 9th update:

In recruiting news, Coach Miles and members of his coaching staff are making in-home visits with players who have already committed to LSU this week. They will make in-home visit to undecided recruits most likely after the first of the year since a dead period starts in recruiting next week and runs until the day after the BCS national championship game is played.

    The Advocate, Dec 9th

LSU returns to practice Sunday and will work out through Dec. 22. LSU will fly to Atlanta on Christmas day and resume practice Dec. 26. ... LSU plays Georgia Tech at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 31

    Dandy Don's Dec 10th update:

Les Miles and his staff are working around the clock trying to put the finishing touches on recruiting before practice begins
    ...
With 21 commitments, Miles can only take four or five more and we all know that Miles will hold scholarships for Rueben Randle, Barkevious Mingo, Andre DeBose, William Campbell, Darren Myles and linebacker Jarvis Jones from Columbus, Georgia as long as it takes. If LSU should lose out on any of these players, and most likely they will, you can expect Miles to offer safety Josh Johns from Central of Baton Rouge, and it would not surprise me to see Miles offer Benny Logan from Red River high school in Coushatta, La.

Conversation is so slow here, getting Dandy Don involved might help pick it up
