Hatcher Hall (freshman - best location on campus), Power Hall (summers), Kirby Smith (soph-senior). Enjoyed watching the Golden Band from Tiger Land practice from my Kirby Smith window.
Nah hell no. I'm glad you did. Person needs to know how to speak their native language. I think that was jest or gist.
LSU class of '92, English major, history minor. '88 - '92 were good times, though the football really sucked. My dad was the first college grad in my family (except for my maternal granny, who went to Baylor in the late '20's), and he did get his masters from LSU in '82. All of my cousins on my mom's side of the family are LSU grads, along with now one of my cousin's daughters. I don't think I'm going to end up with my daughters at LSU, though my 9th grader does talk about it from time to time; however, she is looking towards Oklahoma State (they offer some great incentives to Texas students.). And my 5th grader wants to go to art school.
You will need them, it's a pricey school, then you have a lifetime of that ridiculous orange. Good luck
Good luck to her in her career as a barista. She can get lots of tips by drawing caricatures of her customers on their coffee cups.
It's like Plano Senior High North up there in Stillwater. I think that's why she even is considering it; so many Plano kids go. I told her we'd take a weekend road trip up there this summer to check it out, but I also want her to look at some state schools like Stephen F. Austin or Texas State in San Marcos.
I know that's been the knock on artists for all time, but art degrees are starting to be more valued. I think because of the creativity they can bring to a workplace. She thinks she wants to do set and costume design. Fortunately, the big high schools up here offer that as electives. One of my former students got a scholarship to Julliard based on work she did on high school productions.
