I was talking about the current group of LSU players. They just are not as talented as the past NFL players-- you mention were, especially on the lines.
I agree completely, especially defensive line but I think we have a few freshmen that can turn that around.
Harris would have received better coaching at Bama. As for Les 'tickling Cam's nuts' .... I'll have to see the game tape.
Has anyone listened to...? http://www.andthevalleyshook.com/2016/9/15/12934538/sneaky-good-podcast-episode-16-etling-or-bust They too think that Harris is done, but as I was listening to it, I began to suspect that CLM may have known or at least strongly suspected going into the Wisconsin game that Harris was not the one, but didn't want to pull Harris in the first game as it would have put too much pressure on Etling. IF (and it's a big if) Etling can can continue to develop and gain confidence, before the season is over, we may have a real offense. If Etling does workout, CLM will be due some praise. Personally, I'd love to see CLM go out the end of this season a winner with LSU looking to get a more dynamic head coach as well as the team and us fans chomping at the bit for next season. OK --- that's my "sunshine pumping" contribution for this year. Anyone else want to make a contribution?
If Etling 'works out' -whatever that means- 8-4 9-3?? It will be another case of another qb having to have played elsewhere first in order to be half ass decent here. Proof once again Elmer and Sham don't know dick about developing qb's.
Damn you don't even have to look at the article. Just the numbers on top of it. Signed 17 Finished at LSU 3 DNP 7 Left 11 On current team 3
EXACTLY what I was saying in this thread. http://tigerfan.com/threads/inquiring-finds-want-to-mow.129318/
