I enjoyed this whole article. I'm really impressed with Jones, have been since the first or second game when he came flying across the field and knocked someone out of bounds, with authority!

The other players seem to be impressed by him also.

I read the article earlier today.

Raw, physical talent wise he's as good as they come. Once he fully grasps the defensive schemes look out WRs and anybody else entering his zone.

Ever since he batted the ball down against Florida I have been telling everyone how good he is. They are starting to believe me now.

I thought it'd be a long time before we'd see anyone as good as LaRon Landry playing safety. Turns out it may not be nearly that long. Jones is an incredible talent... so happy he chose us over USC and MLB.

It will be interesting. It's hard for the secondary guys, who tend to be short, to match up with the current generation of receivers (like Bowe or Tolliver) who are 6' 4" and 220 or so. Chad is 6' 3", 220 lbs. and has the speed to run with them. I just don't see that combo every day. He may only have 2 years left at LSU, before going pro, after making first team all american his jr. year.
