Outcome is most dependent on Jeaux’s & others ability to execute & keep chains moving. More important is play calling & timely adjustments by “THE MINGER” ...

    12 Q’s:

    1. How well can Minger & Jeaux adjust (play calls/audibles) to Miami D pressure pkgs?
    2. How many series will it take to get them both on the same page in a game and keep drives alive to put points on the board?
    3. Has Minger prepared an opening script good enough to take it to the house on the first drive? ... or will he run simple plays that give his new QB game time confidence.
    4. Will receivers (incl. RBs) make plays and hang on to the ball or show inexperience?
    5. Will OL be able to handle UM front 7 and give Jeaux time to execute plays called?
    6. How well can LSU punish Miami with the screen and other plays (QB keepers, etc) designed for overly aggressive Dee?
    7. How well can Jeaux elude blitz pkgs and schemes & handle pressure to rattle him?
    8. How many times will Jeaux convert on critical third down situations (or fail getting sacked or hurried)?
    9. How well can the LSU running game get off the ground and which running plays work best (can LSU run between the tackles with a 50/50 play Mix) to beat a quick Miami 7?
    10. Will The Minger call a few old Canada plays like jet sweeps using Clyde the Glide
    11. Which WR/TE outside of Giles & Moreau show up and make big plays (score points)?
    12. Which RB proves to be most effective?

We find out today who’s got game!

Shotgun approach at analysis eh? Scatter enough bird shot and you're bound to hit something.

I think THE MOST important factor in this game was left off your list. A factor that we saw Auburn and Notre Dame demonstrate to near perfection yesterday. A disruptive defensive line. That’s how LSU wins tonight.

LSU can't afford to come out playing "comfortable" or conservative. LSU needs to come out swinging and geaux for the knock out right from the jump.

So you think our Dee alone wins this?
Ain’t likely happening if offense can’t execute and put lotsa points on the board

Not exactly what I’m saying. But our offense damn sure isn’t winning this. Having a strong defensive push is our only chance.

You think Auburn’s offense won that game with lots of points?

Also, the only way to give our offense a chance to experiment and execute the list above, our defense has to keep them in a position to do so. Playing from behind or getting in a shootout throws a lot of things out the window.

Offense has to execute and at least keep the time of possession manageable but it is going to be crucial for the defense to create a few short field opportunities for them to work with.

Auburn won it because Stidham went 26/36 for 275 yards and 1 TD ... ZERO PICS

THAT 21 POINTS WAS ENOUGH ...

And yes the Auburn Dee late was ferocious and held on for the win ...

We’ll likely need at least that much to win!
