Our DEFENSE won LSU the title in 2004, no doubt about that. And I, along with many fans, was glad to see DF go the FSU. Now he's Bowden's problem.

I've been attending games and following LSU since the early 1960's. LSU has always been a great program, but their Football Team catapulted into an entirely different level tonight!

Crowton brings/adds the "element" we've always known was there, out into the open tonight.

Jimbo did his job fine and played a major role in winning SEC titles and NC.But it is also nice to know that we are in very capable hands now.

In all my years of watching LSU football games, which is many dating back to Bert Jones, this was the most complete game of domination of a quality opponent that I have ever witnessed. I have much respect for the job Nick Saban did to rebuild our program and winning a National Championship. For now, this team(including coaches and players) is stacked on all fronts. Coach Miles has done one of the best jobs of replacing coaches and players I have ever seen. I'm so happy to see our coaches playing so many freshman and sophomores. This will help our recruiting efforts in a huge way.

Congrats to players and coaches on a great start to our season.

Heard on the Radio from Jordy Hultberg that VT players were telling Doucet during the game that we have no idea what ''you guys are doing" that OC is a BEAST.

I had predicted 17-6 up until today. Then I was talking to DOTB and told him I changed my mind and said we were gonna open it up and win easily 41-7.

I guess I was remembering back to when we had Fisher, when everything we did he made to look hard.

Now Crowton makes it all look so easy. He has similiar weapons to what Fisher had (Fisher overall had better talent last year), but Fisher could not manage to take advantage of it. Crowton is just learning how to use these guys, so its only gonna get better. He's not shy, let's just put it that way.

This team appears to be on their way to averaging 38+ points this season, a full touchdown better than what Fisher has done in recent seasons.

I am glad Fisher is gone, he's why we didn't win the NC last year, and will be the reason why we do win it this year.

I'm talking top to bottom. I warmed up to Miles after the Miami game last season, but this was huge. I think Miles personality and the ability of the coaching staff he's assembled trumps Saban. That may have been obvious to you, but I still had my doubts. Of course, VaTech was probably overrated. We'll see how much as the season unfolds.
