    As we figure a way to have enough to last through retirement how we take Social Security is part of the equation.
    Americans are losing trillions claiming social security at the wrong time
    Most retirees should wait longer to access their benefits, researchers find. Some should claim them sooner.

    I turn 67 in 2037, they expect the trust fund to be depleted by 2035. By then the liberals will have gave away everything to illeagls and welfare moms, so i expect no help from uncle sam.

    I know what you mean. I’m 70 in 2022 so I’ve got some expectations of getting much of what I’m owed.

    I have been buying rental properties like crazy. My goal is to have 20 paid off by the time that I retire. Right now I have 10 that are paid off, so I am half way. At 58, I have to really bust ass to get there in the next 10 years, but I think it is doable. I don't count on SS doing anything for me.

    I think I will collect as soon as I can because to be honest I am not going to live that much into retirement due to health issues.

    Might as well collect what I can.
