Anyone else notice that a Five Guys is being built in Towne Center? I hear very good things about the place. Does it live up to the hype?

I've never had it either, but like you have heard great things. Can't wait to try it. Aren't they mainly a west coast establishment? Glad to see them moving east.

5 Guys is sweeping the nation so I had to try it when I was in New York a few weeks ago.

It was good. It's hard to live up to the hype thats been created so keep your expectations low and you'll probably like it. The pattys are thin but they put two of em on the burger.

They use good fresh Idaho potatos but they need to use the two temp fry system to make them crispier. I'd definitely go back.

Should be open within the month. I have heard nothing but good things.

I heard it is a semi-upscale burger joint without the upscale price.

They Have 2 in Mobile they let you choose what you want (and they have a good bit) on your burger then they cook it. It is a very good burger pricey but worth it ....also have sack's of peanuts so you can munch while you wait.

There is one on Lake Conroe (near Houston). We ate next door at Sam's Boat last weekend but 5 Brothers was packed and looked good.

There was one in Florida but I never went there. I always heard that they were the best. I'm not sure why, but no one ever really said anything bad about them. They did mention them being pricier, but some people justify paying more for a better burger. I know once I left, they were making one in Syracuse as well.
