So who/what do you think happens on the first play for LSU? Do we stick with Hester off tackle? Do we go for the throat with a playaction deep shot to byrd?
Middle screen to doucet for an 8 yard game. Followed by a Hester run up the middle for a first down. 9 play drive, 76 yards for a TD, LSU 7-0. LSU never surrenders the lead, and I celebrate in section 209!!!!!!!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!! I AM GETTING PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yea!!! I like the middle screen idea, and some spread, but they definetly need to get acquainted with Hester on our first possession. I am really interested to see what happens when we pound the ball with Hester, right behind big Herman Johnson. Do we get 2 yards, or 5 yards. :crystal: :geaux: :crystal: :geaux: :crystal:
Depends on the situation in my opinion. If we get the ball to start the game, assuming we don't get a great kickoff routine, then I think it's Hester off tackle. Should we start on defense and get a nice punt return or INT in favorable field position, we go play-action pass. Something deep would be nice, but I would expect something short/easy for whoever is under center.
Sure, Hester off tackle for 12 yards. 60 yard drive for TD is next. 3 and out on dee. Another 70 yard drive for TD. Rinse, Lather, Repeat
Well, since we'll defer on the coin toss, we'll start on defense. Off tackle to Beanie Wells, Mr. Dorsey introduces himself about .0007 seconds after he receives the ball...5 yard loss.
Jacob...right up the gut, reload backs and pound them all night!!! :geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux:
87 slash dot right. (I think thats the call) aka the play we started the 2003 game with that Justin Vincent took for like 60 yards.
