Did you read the search warrant that was released? It's lists, quite clearly, the crimes they believed he committed. Investigators cannot willy nilly execute a search warrant. They must go to a judge and present their evidence. The judge then evaluates said evidence and rules as to whether they believe the investigators have enough evidence to execute a search warrant. I have never claimed that Trump has been charged with a crime.
Do you have proof of this? Can you cite some support for this assertion? Because on the one hand you like to point out that "we don't know" so we can't speculate and in the same breath you speculate.
did you read the search warrant? the alleged crimes are listed on it very clearly. these crimes were listed well before the search warrant was executed so the notion that they went there looking for a crime is bull shit.
The documents do not belong to him, they belong to the United States. So regardless of classification, they were not his to take. On the subject of classification, you are not a constitutional lawyer so pretending you are just makes you look silly. Trump will have to prove that he declassified those documents and saying that he had a standing order is just milky bull shit. We now have Mick Mulvaney and John Kelly both saying that his claim of a standing order is complete BS. So, while the President is free to classify and declassify documents, claiming so after the fact without ability to prove it will be a legal sticking point.
