Roughly three weeks ago there were stories beginning to pop up about Braxton Miller looking to transfer from OSU. A few days after that his father was quoted saying "there's no truth to the rumors" and specifically mentioned a few schools. LSU is among the schools being talked about. Last week Miller got a physical in New Orleans from Dr. Lyle Cain. Now, Cain works with James Andrews so that in itself makes sense; he's seeing a specialist and OSU was in New Orleans. Now, there's reports about Miller being interested in Bama. Despite his father being quoted about the reports being false...seems to be there's a lot of smoke for there not to be at least a little fire. {EDIT} Just remembered...the other school mentioned with LSU was Oregon. FWIW, a lot of these stories came out of his rehab work with Cain and Andrews in Birmingham. If I recall correctly, FSU was mentioned as well.
Yeah, they could make a new rule and call it a "coaching redshirt", LOL. LSU QB coaches would be granted at least an extra year to get their QBs up to par.
I'm thinking it's already shut down. In May the SEC passed new legislation about grad transfers. A couple of those were "always stayed eligible at the old school" and the biggest one that comes into play here with EG read something like "no disciplinary issues at the old school." Both may disqualify him, but it seems the later certainly would.
Ha, best joke of the year so far. You people do know how miles treats people that turn the ball over right? He would never see the field.
That guy Jones who dropped the pass in overtime vs Bama didn't even make the trip to Nashville. Its easy to earn a a long sentence to Les's Doghouse
Would be a HORRILBE move to take Golson. I would rather limp along with Jennings and Harris than Golson. IF Miles takes him, we will lose Jennings and Harris and probably Franks and Patterson (since they will see how loyal our coaches are to players aready in the system). An improvement with Golson for 1 season is not worth allowing Jenni.ngs and Harris to rot on the pine for a year and further not develop. I hope this rumor does not have any legs
