    Who said I delight? I'm just sticking to facts, here. And our #1 ranking there isn't all about you....the irish have a hand in it as well.

    Thanks for agreeing with me?

    This contest has got the USC fans all a buzzing in a way no catholic could hope. Speaking about the Trojans buzzing, here we go.

    USC's Jackson wants to shadow Alabama's Ridley in opener:

    The reasons given were honest if not noble.

    Grantland Rice-esque fail right there.

    I wouldn't say they were either. More self-serving and backhanded....but Adoree knows.

    Yeah yeah, hard to work my shtick in these multicolored rooms.

    However, given the cyberspace coach I am, junior and I would be discussing the advantages of team oriented goals over a more distant personal achievement sometime before kickoff.

    @uscvball,..Say what? You give props for UC Davis? Just cause they are called Aggies is no reason to get excited. This.....
    does not impress.. Nebraska finished 4th in their Division, haven't been ranked in the top 25 since 2013. Virginia finished 6th in conference with a 7-13 overall record. They've been to 1 bowl game since 2008....a loss in the Chick Fil A in 2011.

    @Husker Ed
    :cool:..Nebraska is expected to be very good this year,.. I like this match-up. The other two Oregon OOC games are crappy. Next year no better,..

    In 2019 we open with Auburn at Jerry World,
    home and away with Ohio State in 2020/21 :)

    uscvballl,.., there are only 2 college teams left who have never played an FCS school. Personally, I think USC is doing it all wrong. Nobody really gives a shit about "be the best, play the best". It's a nice and smart formula the SEC follows; play your division, a few non-division conf games, easy OOC, take a bye week prior to conference play, get a couple easy OOC wins on the board and go into conf play healthy, take another bye heading into the last few weeks to give injuries healing time.

    :cool: Not a huge deal to me but,.. the fans are losing out whden their teams play so many cupcakes, each SEC team plays 3 patsies a year,.. how exciting is beating the shit out of nobodies? I wish playing FBS teams were/was not allowed,.. the more competitive every-bodies schedule is, the better I like it.

    The ACC and SEC who play 8 conference games a year have an unfair advantage. For example, the SEC's fourth OOC game is always (I think) against lowly nobodies,.. thus the SEC gets 14 wins. The PAC plays against itself instead,.. so the PAC is guaranteed 12 losses. This matters in Strength of schedule and the polls, as well as overall perception.

    It's not an even playing field unless all teams play the same number of yearly conference games,.. I would chose 9,.. it's more fun for the fans.

    That's more like it.

    Honestly, other than a little bitching here and there I don't think they care about losing out or lack of excitement when they have the promise/guarantee of making the playoffs. That's the end game. It would be great to force their hand but with what leverage?

    Yes, but the perception of the Pac is set and East Coasters never watch our games anyway. Overall perception by haymakers is that the pac is a conference of air-based pussies. We NEED/HAVE to get D and O linemen the size of what grows in the SEC. We can match the speed with skill players but not the size of the linemen they grow in the Southeast.

    I don't disagree.
    I saw her pic a lot....I just couldn't find one that didn't look a little.....off. Pretty girl but something is not quite right.

    Thanks but, I wish Oregon played better OOC teams. I've been thinking about it,.. how great would it be if all teams played a 10 conference game schedule with no FBS games allowed, it would sure weed out the pretenders.

    You're evolving nicely Tusk,.. get the proper accouterments and you'll be a good egg,.. I recommend these;
