LOL!!! I don't think I've ever met an LSU fan that actually pulled for Bama other than it would help LSU out. Otherwise they'd be pulling against us.

But don't worry, we'll do our best to win out and give y'all a bit of help.

 

I also want to add my congratulations. The game was actually closer than I thought it would be. You guys just have a much better team than we do.

 

I have often rooted for Bama when the outcome of the game has no affect on LSU.

 

Not hard at all Stacey. Any Bama fan that truly follows the team knew coming into this season we weren't going to be adding no championship trophy to the trophy case. As the season played on we realized this team lacks talent and depth in some key defensive positions and one or two offensive positions.

Couple that with a complete transition of coaching systems and you've got potentially a "bad" season. No one (even most Bama fans) expected us to be 6-2 on November 3 and chasing the SEC West Title. Nor did the overwhelmingly majority of Bama fans even think this game would even be close. So personally I saw a lot of good things tonight from our team. I believe we're headed in the right direction and are not far from making some racket on the SEC Title chase.

Thanks for the congrats! It was a great game, and don't worry. It was very hard for me to pull against Bama tonight. I mean, I only did so because of obvious reasons being an LSU fan and all, but I hope you guys win every game until we meet again. I have my reasons. While hospitalized up here, I met this Bama student about my age undergoing the same thing as I am and he was a really cool guy. Diehard Bama and SEC fan. Class act all the way. Anyhow, he succumbed to leukemia before the game today. It was VERY hard for me root against Bama. Life puts things into perspective. Sure he was a Bama fan, but we all know what it's like to be a fan of any particular school, and that connection, just being SEC brethren, it's something you can't shake. I may never pull against the SEC again. Gotta rep our conference, there are great fans from EVERY school!
