Did the Alabama game prove that talent can overcome coaching and lack of discipline?

I only put that out there because Bama seemed far more disciplined than we were last night. In the end our talent was just too much to overcome. Take away 2 or 3 questionable calls and we still had 11-12 penalties.

I'm thrilled about the win especially over NS but we seem to get outcoached. That came through in our lack of discipline. Football is an emotional game but you have to know how to channel that energy into the next play not taking off your helmet or committing a personal foul. That comes with coaching.

9 times out of 10 talent can over come coaching and lack of discipline, i just wonder when that 1 time will come up for LSU.

Kentucky. We already got it out the way.

Disciplined or not.. without those 3 INT I don't think it would have been close. I think it says.. alot about our team when we can play through 100+ yards in penalties and 3 INTs.

    We didn't quit. Kept fighting.

For whatever reason i figure you've got one more in ya. I doubt it'll be Ole Miss or Arkansas but maybe the SECCG. Just a guess. Flame away.

Nick is a strict coach and his team is very disciplined. So what? Les is a passionate coach and his team was more passionate.

If it was all about talent then USC would go undefeated win the national championship every year. But its NOT all about talent. A team must have a certain level of talent to compete at a high level and guess what . . . Bama has that amount of talent, it was easy to see last night. The entire upper tier of the SEC is very talented.

USC, Florida, and Texas have ALL recruited better than LSU in the last four years and they are all carying multiple losses. Why is that do you reckon? It's because that talent also has to be well-prepared, passionate, hungry, innovative, smart, and effective as well as disciplined.

At what point did Alabama out "coach" LSU?
Just curious when it took place, cause I have the game taped
and would like to see it.
