I am going off the fact that Saban had a HUGE part in bringing the in state recruits to LSU, I would suspect that he would try to do the same in Bama

You gotta wonder what TAMU was thinking when they gave Fran that big contract extension, like they had to lock him down. It begs the question, was any other school really courting Fran. Hell, they could've kept that guy without offering anything. Dumb aggys.

Word this afternoon was that they are offering him a $1.9 million buyout. TAMU is trying to get out cheap because of Fran's e-mail scandal. Remains to be seen if this actually violated his contract, or rather how the courts would view it. If the buyout attempt is true, TAMU is obviously trying to get the jump on the coaching carousel, or be the first to jump on if you will. Are you listening Nebraska ?

Bottomline.....Tubs is not going to TAMU. he is going to LSU:grin:

Seriously, the rumor mill is out of control. I am willing to bet that Tubs is not going anywhere and before you bet I disclose that I have inside info. The table is open for bets.

I've never been to Auburn, hope to see a game there some day. I've spent more time in Collie Station than I ever would have wished. Why anyone would want to lead the cult is beyond me. I'm betting with you.
