I normaly just get on here to look at recruiting in your area. Then i saw some OSU fans or someone acting like OSU fans on this board.

I truly am embarassed by all of the trash talking that is being said from OSU.

I do believe we have a good team and I know LSU is a good team.
I do hope we are fortunate enough to be in the NC. The SEC pounded us all these years and I hope we are up to the Challenge. I think Tressel learned his lesson from last year. He is a great coach, i hope you all agree.

This is a different team from last year. Most of these boys are from SEC country. These chats are all in good fun. No need for people to come on here from different Schools to trash talk. This is how we get in trouble and then more embarassed.

Hope to see you guys in January for the NC. I think we can compete, but who knows. Its a crazy game.

Good luck. Hope your coach doesn't make the mistake of leaving for Michigan.

    C ya:huh:

Don't worry about it! I think we figured out he was a gump posing as an OSU fan anyway! Welcome and stick around!

Welcome to the forum and classy post. As far as OSU, for me, it's not a matter of "Not believing" in them, in my mind they just haven't given me reason "To believe". I'll say that Tressel is definitely a good coach and being that most of your team returned, would think the experience factor, in itself, would make OSU a better team than they were last year- though, I was told you returned almost all of your starters, don't really know the numbers as I haven't looked at that myself.

How many starters did you return? I just posted in another thread that I'd be happy to play tOSU or Oregon in the NC game. My first choice would have been USC but anytime we have an opportunity to play for a National Championship, I won't complain about who it's against. I remember being elated that we would get to play in the Independence Bowl.

good post, Buckeye, but "yikes" on the above. You guys have, what, 10 guys on your entire 110 member roster from SEC land... and only four of them on the two deeps. You've got 70 some players from Ohio alone, let alone the Michigan and Pennsylvania kids.
You might be the first bucky I've ever "met" that thought you had to leave Ohio to get players... be proud, man!!!

(now back to our regular programming)

Great Post! Love to see when others can step out of the house and appreciate the talent being displayed nation wide. I pair up with a Wolverine at work and believe you me I am looking for Michigan come 11/17 for some help, but that comes out of respect from the Buckeye side of the field. Good luck in the chase and hope to see ya in the New Year in New Orleans. I like the match up!

I don't think I could say much that hasn't already been said here.
Its kinda interesting, I have become friends with one of my sons teachers.
He is an OSU fan, from there and has ties to the university.
He and I also are huge sports fans including College football so we've gotten together to watch some of each teams games.

Its been kind of an interesting year for me when talking about Buckeye football.
I know a lot of people brush them off after last year but I think that is a mistake.
Last year was just that, ask Fla, LSU and ND.
They are a good football team!

The Buckeyes have more fans down here than most would think. Last year we held a fantasy football draft in a sports bar on a Saturday when Ohio State was playing. There were a large number of Buckeye fans that apparently met in this sports bar to cheer on their team. I was really surprised to see so many people down south who were fanatics about a northern program.
