I just caught the end of it but this guy was going off (audio only) that ESPN was replaying. He essentially said that when the Saints were looking for a head coach Benson approached him and told him he should be in the NFL where he belongs. Keuchenberg alledges Weis held Notre Dame ransom by dangling what the Saints were offering him and that got him his long extension. He went on to say the guy is arrogant to the extent that he is unpleasant and rude to even the Notre Dame faithful/alumni. Keuchenberg is a Notre Dame alum and played on the 72 Dolphins that had the perfect season.
I thought this was really funny, though, at the end he mentions it is all second hand info. Way to blow it...
I never heard that part. He is a proud Notre Dame alum and is obviously pissed that this phat phuck of a coach gets a pass after the most embarrassing season in Notre Dame history.
Yeah, and I am sure the info is correct...I mean, look at the tool on the sidelines... But he could have left out how he knows it.
