How bout them Mountaineers? No one I know says "App State." It is so funny hearing the broadcasters continually saying “App State.” People say Appalachian or or Appalachian State, or sometimes “Happy Appy." Well Done!
App State is our trademark now. Used to be Appalachian. BTW Happy Appy is considered an insult. Even though today we are very happy.
After giving up 63 points and 600 yards last week. The App State defense gave up 7 points and 186 yards today. The other points for the aggies came on a kick return. All this despite having their captain and top two players hurt. Gotta love college football.
Of course I know that, but didn’t mean it as such. I’m a lot older, as are the people I deal with and talk to. My college “true love” went to APP STATE. I know, or knew, the campus well. Now I go through Boone going to E. Tennessee trout fishing.
