Who will be the first to repeat as BCS Champions? So far there have been nine different teams during the last nine years.

    2007 Florida 4-2
    2006 Texas 4-2
    2005 USC 4-1
    2004 LSU 6-0
    2003 Ohio St. 6-0
    2002 Miami 4-2
    2001 Oklahoma 5-1
    2000 Florida St. 4-1
    1999 Tennessee 3-2

Never say never but Florida, Texas, Miami, and Tennessee are just about toast.

I'm sure we could find room for another one. :hihi:

It sure would be nice to be the first with two crystal footballs.

No team has been able to win more than one title during the last nine years, so you really need to take advantage when you have the chance.

I hope our guys realize you don't get too many opportunities to win a title...especially playing in the SEC. If they can stay focussed and win six straight, we'll be the first with two. :crystal: :crystal:

After the stress my heart has endured the last three weeks, I really hope we can win the title. Years from now I can take my grandkids to look at the trophy and tell them that's the title that almost gave grandpa a heart attack!

Here's the update on the previous nine BCS champions...

    2007 Florida 6-3 BCS #15 Vegas Odds: 100/1
    2006 Texas 8-2 BCS #14 Vegas Odds: 100/1
    2005 USC 7-2 BCS #17 Vegas Odds: 40/1
    2004 LSU 8-1 BCS #2 Vegas Odds: 13/10
    2003 Ohio St. 10-0 BCS #1 Vegas Odds: 17/10
    2002 Miami 5-4 BCS N/A Vegas Odds: N/A
    2001 Oklahoma 8-1 BCS #5 Vegas Odds: 3/1
    2000 FSU 6-3 BCS N/A Vegas Odds: N/A
    1999 Tenn. 6-3 BCS #24 Vegas Odds: N/A

It's down to LSU, Ohio St., and Oklahoma for the possibility of winning their second BCS title.

Teams going for their first BCS Crystal:

    Oregon 7/2
    WV 6/1
    Kansas 10/1
    ASU 25/1
    BC 25/1
    Missouri 30/1

Missouri at 30-1 is pretty crazy. They have to be a better shot than ASU and BC at this point. Something along the lines of Kansas, I would say.

That game against Kansas is a toss up at this point.

I agree but I guess the odds makers think they'll stumble along the way.

Missouri's schedule: TEXAS A&M, @ Kansas State, vs. Kansas @ Kansas City...then win the Big 12 Championship (likely Oklahoma)...then beat Ohio State or LSU for the title...

I don't believe that 30/1 is too outrageous but I'm surprised that BC and ASU are ahead of them. Even if there were more upsets and BC or ASU slid into #2, they would probably get destroyed if their opponent was Ohio St., LSU, or Oklahoma.
