Which leads back to what I said in the first place. I said I had lost respect for him because of his antics. If you break down what you've just posted it appears we are on the same page.

"However, I would not expect that from someone who dis-likes me." - B/C he screwed up so bad in his own interview and chose to place the blame under the race card banner.

"How serious the violations were..." - If the NCAA considered it a violation, that's one thing. They weren't considered violations even though Croom attempted to make that the case.

"However, I would not expect that from someone who dis-likes me. In fact, I would expect just the opposite." - Which, I think we both can agree on, is petty.

Maybe it is petty. All I'm saying is if you respected him before, this shouldn't be the reason to change that. Because he is a rival that doesn't like Bama (regardless of the reason), you should have expected it from him. If he does what you expect him to do, your opinion of him should not change.

Example: I expect Urban Meyer to do a little whinnig every year. So now, when he does whine, my opinion of him doesn't change at all, because he did what I thought he would do. I still respect him as a coach, because he is doing what he thinks is best to get his team an advantage.

Now back to the race card issue. I am not aware of him pulling, but I pay ZERO attention to him. I trust your word on this one, and think it is a chicken ch!t move on Croom's part. For that, yes he deserves to lose a little respect. But not for trying to throw a little dirt on a rival that he feels wronged him. That is human nature and to be expected from him, or anyone else in his shoes.

They had 6 turnovers and they were still close to winning till the end.

Bama beats MSU soundly. MSU has decent defense and probably will stop the run somewhat, but they can't keep up with the passing game.

The MSU offense is terrible. But they may hang with them early.

The fans themselves are one of the reasons why I don't go to as many Bama games as I used to.

The entire obsession with bear bryant just isn't relevant anymore. If bama fans want to obsess, why not Gene Stallings?

All he did was win, and at least that was not that long ago.

    1. Because he's a better than average poster who provides good insight and is the kind of guest we like to have around here. He doesn't flame or troll and behaves himself.

    2. Because too many decent rival posters have quit TF because of mindless bashing from locals simply because they are from somewhere else and have an opinion.

    3. Because the "gump" thing is as childish and pathetic as the "corndog" thing.

If you are going to quote, please don't edit. Answer all the question and not just half. Red you are a great Tiger Fan, but is terry your counter part at bama? Change gump to bama fan, he still has that bama rationale. Also, I really don't care how many bama fans leave here. Defend them all you want, they still suck. Is that childish enough for you.

http://sabanville.proboards81.com/index.cgi they are saying that Saban will have his team ready and will win 63 to 0 If Saban can get them up he will . He would like nothing better to beat them worse than LSU beat them. You Like Mike Shula,

When does this become spamming? Two accounts. Both pushing similar vacated message boards. It's obviously ineffective, but annoying in any case.

I'll quote what I want to and edit it as I please.

I'll answer what I want to. Your question made no sense to me.

I'm shocked to hear that. Shocked, I tell you.

Well I do. Most of us like discussing football with the rivals. :thumb:

Did you sing the little "nyah, nyah, na nyah nyah" song?
