I agree with Terry's description of Croom's antics. But when I really lost respect for Croom was when he didn't discipline a group of his players that jumped an undercover cop.

As for the MSU-Bama match-up... Miss St's DB's aren't very good, so Bama will have success through the air. But Miss St's running attack should be pretty successful. Bama wins, but it's close.

See, now that's a legit reason for losing respect of a guy.

I'll say this bluntly as well. You've missed the point entirely. That is the best thing he's had when going to the NCAA. And, he makes it an ordeal...or, at least tries to?!?

There is a huge difference between hate and loss of respect. You have never seen me even use the word regarding anyone.

He's holding a childish grudge based on his own ineptitude and chooses to try, in any way possible, to attack the University to see if he can get an advantage.

I understand you haven't followed this because it's not in your ball park, but what he's done is foul.

I'll say this bluntly since for some reason those around the Bama program have a difficult time understanding.
IF YOU DO NOT BREAK THE RULES, NO ONE WILL TURN YOU IN. IF YOU BREAK THE RULES, SOME ONE WILL.
It's not Phulmer's fault ya'll went on probation, it's Bama's fault they went on probation. Understand how this works now?

Wow, I never thought I would see the day that a coach tries to get an advantage over a team they play every year.

CParso's reason for not respecting the man holds a lot more water than what you've offered up so far. If you only dis-respect him because he no longer loves Bama, you are even more self centered than any other Bama fan I've ever spoke to. And yes that's saying a lot.

Yea, I don't see how a Bama fan could be upset about being rightfully turned into the NCAA. Sure, the transgressions may have been minor, but then it shouldn't be such a big deal to correct them.

On the other side, I do understand why it would aggravate Bama fans to have one coach constantly coming after your program. But when he's right every time, well maybe your program shouldn't do so much wrong...

That is just the attitude of the bama nation. We can take a 1/4 inch more than anyone else and people should just shut up and take it.:geaux:

He hasn't been. That's part of the point.

It should be clear why we don't tend to post things on this forum about the program now...

I am shocked you can't see this. A brochure that was less than a quarter of an inch too wide? Do you honestly not see what kind of mental process is behind that?
