But, you aren't in the financial straights that fRan is in and need the extra money to support coachbayou.com as well.
I understand he's in secret negotiations with Cosmo Kramer and Jerry Costanza...but they are calling it support. Early rumors has it called the Manziere.
I,d have to agree with just about everything you said buzzard, the penalty situation is pretty bad, CLM said it was a problem that would be corrected and I believe the man. Bama's a damn good football team, and I agree we should run the ball more. I've been saying that all season. But I think the coaches may have expected the Tide to do something else and game planned that way. Hard to say. Overall, the SEC officiating this year has been "terrible" and thats a situation the league has got to address when the season ends. But I don't see that happening unless some folks with "heavy pockets" who make large contributions to the SEC gets involved. I do however disagree about the coaches, I thought both of these staffs were about balanced. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
I was a ref for intramural basketball last year and i found that no matter what you do you can never make anyone happy. Period. Someone is always going to be upset about the way you called a game. I know intramural basketball and SEC football aren't the same, but i believe the mindset is the same.
I absolutely agree with you that LSU is an undisciplined team - and has been for three years. For the last three years LSU has been one of the most penalized teams in the nation. It has got to stop. Miles has got to do something about it, but so far he has not.
That's a rather snippy answer, Mr. Snippy. I'm not an authority on judging coaches, I'm just asking some questions. You are the one that's expressed judgments/opinions on the coaches, not me. I've been asking questions, partly because LSU might need a new DC next year. LSU! :crystal:
I can certainly believe that, and, I'm quite certain that your observation is a major factor in the way that fans judge officiating at all levels and in every game.
Just got back from Tuscalooa. Great trip, great time, great game. Bryant-Denny was as loud as I have ever heard. I've heard and read some comments about the officiating and would rather not get into it. It is still the SEC isn't it? Three questions: 1) How in the heck, in your opinion, does a highly ranked team like LSU give up that TD on the punt return? I have seen LSU all year and their special teams have been dismal. I expected Arenas to break a long one, but not one for a TD. The stadium was so ridiculously loud at that point. If I could relive that play over and over I definitely would. I think the special teams need to be worked on for you all's run for the National Title. It's things like this that will win and lose games. 2) What did you think about the LSU comeback victory? The mark of a champion fighting back to get the win? Or just another Saturday of LSU getting lucky? I think LSU loves playing from behind for some reason. They seem to play close and then break out in the end for the W. I think this is a good and bad thing. While you would like for your team to beat the pants off of every team early and often, you like to see (well... in hindsight  ) your team pull out these gut check games. LSU has the talent to do this against anyone, but if I were a LSU fan, I would hope for games that are won early. I think the only luck involved in this game would be a certain overturned catch :bncry: (which I have yet to see) and the way some of yall's blitzes worked out. I don't mean to say that the sacks were luck, but JP seemed to pick the wrong place to run "away" from the rush and ended up getting annihilated. It was a right place right time sort of thing. 3) In your educated opinion, which coaching staff did a better job of getting the team ready for the game? LSU's coaches? Bama's coaches? I think each coach showed his style here and don't think one outcoached the other. Each was prepared for all that was thrown at them... (save for the punt return by Arenas, and the Bama o-line/rb blitz pickups). But if I had two words for the LSU football team they would be: special teams And a word for Alabama: forget
<--- Has a question for the Bama posters. What do you think about DJ Hall, your wide receiver? He seems to have great hands but also seems to be developing that pro wide receiver attitude. He'll make a spectacular catch one minute then jog through his route the next when the ball isn't coming his way and cop an attitude. Do you have a short Randy Moss there? (no disrespect intended, just want to know how Bama feels about him)
