Kershaw only threw 83 pitches,.. starters usually throw simulated innings on their third day off, so pitching on Friday is not inconceivable. Probably won't though, more likely to pitch on short rest deeper into the series. so, I looked it up,.. Dodgers to start Yu Darvish in Game 3 and Alex Wood in Game 4. That's good,.. a mistake by Dave Roberts I think,.. I'd say Kershaw should pitch on Sat. at latest,.. could open the door for Houston,.. pitching him on Sun. means Kershaw won't be available for game 6,.. I now predict Houston wins the WS in six games,.. with Kershaw watching from the bench.
I was afraid they might pull him for Giles. But Peacock went 3.2 innings. I don't know what his pitch count was but somebody will have to step up in that middle relief role tomorrow.
