    it's ironic that the 1 writer from Oregon in the poll has LSU #2.

    That tell ya something?

    Edit: just trolling around this site proves how pointless the polls are.

    The west coast states have LSU #2 more than Oregon and the SE states have Oregon #2 a lot more.

    Point? Media bias.

    Miss writers/Alabama writer/Florida writers are humans and are subconscious fans of the teams they cheer for, and thus subconsciously vote against their rival.

    this is a HUGE reason why the AP poll is not part of the BCS anymore.

    Neal McCready of the Mobile Press Register is the only guy to vote us #1. And I am almost sure he put us there only after the Bama game. Nice job being fair and honest on his part. He knows whats up. He realized LSU was 14 penalties away from embarrassing the total phuck out of Saban and his lemmings-like cult following.

    there are a scattered 3-4 out there who have LSU #1.

    I think he was talking in reference to my quote about southern writers, b/c the Bama guy is the only one from the south.

    :rolleye33: Yes it does, the #1 team in the final AP poll is regarded as a National Champion, get over it trolls. This will only change when the NCAA includes Div I-A in the playoff system.

    craig james has never liked LSU just like chris collinsworth has never given credit to the saints. they are the college and pro equivalents of each other. i'm surprised james didn't go to florida like collinsworth did, he would've fit in well.

    ap doesn't matter, who wants to win a mythical national championship anyway????
