Really? Hell i'd rather be 10-3 and SEC Champs than 11-2 and 2nd in the SEC.

    Well, you'll be neither.

Our team set a goal, we want to be SEC Champs and National Champs and it ain't gonna happen with three losses- not this year, nor next.......at least not the NC game. Bama stood in our path, but now......

You seem to be very fair in your perspectives and I've enjoyed your posts- I hope you hang around. :thumb:

Not once has he stayed with a team more than 5 years...he has a personality flaw that makes him unhappy after a # of years. He will find a place to go and a way out, you are naive if you think he'll be at Bama long term. The thing he hates the most - interference from boosters and wanna-be ADs - is more abundant in Tuscaloosa than anywhere else.

there still is some weird wacky way that Alabama could get to the SEC Championship game, but its not likely.

I enjoy talking football and i'm more than happy to do that.

But i do find it hard for someone to be happy with .846 winning percentage with nothing but the record to show for it. After a while it would get very frustrating. I guess it just goes to show that winning a championship in the modern day of football takes a lot of luck.

Just curious and not trying to attack you or anything but i'm just curious about how you come up with something like that. I could understand if we had hired someone within the University Family but we didn't. Our next AD whoever he may be won't be a past coach, he'll probably be someone with proven management and fund raising experience. Ozzie Newsome's name has been thrown out there.

Also where else would he go if he was to leave? Who else could out bid us?
