Thank to @Frogleg for alerting me to social media alternatives to Facebook and Twitter, I joined Parler about 2 weeks ago but I haven't been back since. Just not much into social media. I know that Parler got 2 million new members in one day recently. It's like Twitter without the censorship. This morning I saw a notification that a friend had invited me to connect on MeWe so i made an account. She was still online so we chatted a bit and I noticed there was a microphone icon. You can record a voice message. I thought that feature was pretty cool. MeWe as far as I can see a competitor to Facebook
The answer for social media is to eliminate "shares" or "retweets". That way if you want to spread some bizarre conspiracy theory, you can type it in keystroke by keystroke.
this is what i argued before about trumps dumb social media threats. just let the market alternatives sort it out
