they should improve with saban as coach, just as South Carolina did when they got Spurrier, and they are in contention for SEC titles just as are every other team in the SEC with the exception of Ole Miss, Mississippi St, and Vanderbilt. There are a lot of good coaches in the SEC for him to compete with, but dont buy into the hype that he is somehow above it. I'm sure that Alabama will be and is back in the mix for the SEC west title along with LSU, Arkansas, and Auburn.

Not true, do you ever read the bama boards? They seem to be obsessed with Les Miles week in week out regardless of who Bama is playing that week.

If we truly are by far the most talented team in the country should'nt we be winning some of these games a little more easier. Don't get me wrong our tigers are very talented but for whatever reason this team is a play here or there from being 6-3.

FINALLY! someone understands what the Real Saban is all about. Pre LSU, and Post LSU....Saban is average at best.

:helmet: :geauxtige C'mon Mike, you know darn well if y'all had won the game you'd be "Creauxing" for the next YEAR about how we were out-coached. Now, admit it. Stop the crying, and look ahead to next week instead of here.

The only way for AMAB fans to admit Miles is good is for him to lead LSU to the SEC and National titles this year, and to beat them for the next 4 years. Since they have a good coach, that will be difficult to do.

Miles will stand or fall based on his overall record. That was true before Saban got to AMAB and it would be just as true had AMAB hired Rodriguez.

The entire state of Alabama thinks Miles is the biggest idiot coaching college football and that LSU's talent advantage is somewhere in the league of the NE Patriots vs Broadmoor HS. Both are foolish statements. I keep hearing about the deer in the headlights look, how he wears his hat (it only looked bad in 05), trying to call the timeout vs Tenn in 05, how time would have run out against AU, how undisciplined we are, etc.

But what really bothers them is that this "idiot's" combined record against AMAB & Auburn is 5-1.
