you also won't see me crediting Saban for Mile's record at LSU. My point still stands. Mile's win loss record if a reflection of Mile's coaching ability AND the situation he inherited. Not sure which has had a bigger impact but i'd say coaching. Saban will have Alabama competing thats all he can take care of, putting a team on the field that believes they can win and compete. Hopefully at some point the rest will take care of itself.
I've yet to see one good explanation giving reason to compare one year to another in regards to an NFL team. No, It's not because it's an NFL team, and not directed at you, Terry, but the reason so many Bama fans don't talk about the dolphins is because their first response is "Well, they were better under Saban" which means the coach actually coaching a team is a major reflection of the performance of the team, which ruins the Miles is winning with Saban's team bull.
