He's one of the 16 finalist this year. Here's where we see differently. I don't see winning the West as a title. It means you have a shot at a title. It's great to get to ATL, but it's about what you do when you get there, IMO.
I find that a lot of Bamamainaians say that in there disdain and ridicule of Miles, no titles. It'll be interesting to see how they'll react if Saban doesn't deliver a title soon, because two top 5 finishes in a row are NOTHING. Oh yeah, if LSU wins a SEC or NC, bama is claiming that one for him. Just like the 3 losses are Shula's fault and all the wins for LSU and Bama are Saban's .
i agree with you. id say even with what we know. tt could be better given recruiting advantages saban has had over tt in the sec. plus, saban gets more natioanl credit for the 12-1 NC season that tt does for the 13-0 one, even though we all know that LSU had good luck and auburn bad luck those years.
How do you figure Saban would be cheaper? He is the highest paid HC in college football by far. The Bama boosters saw to that.
Me too. Oh how it chapped my ass when Auburn fans used to come here claiming western division titles in years that they tied and didnt even make it to the title game. They have gotten better about it, it seems.
Nick is a very intelligent guy. When he came to LSU we already had a fairly loaded roster, but were suffering through poor coaching. Our win-loss record for the 2 years prior to Saban's arrival were not due to a lack of talent. LSU was in a very fertile recruiting area & with a fan base craving success. These factors allowed a quick turn-around & build up of the program, and in the process, made him look like a genius. Nick took this same recipe for success when he decided to go to Alabama.
go to Tigerdroppings if you want to be cute with the "fixed it for you" crap. Or better yet, take it to a gump board. btw, I don't see any of you crediting saban for the dolphins record this year.
