Yeah, he's gonna have his Johnson handed to him, in fact.

Some Alabama fans I think are hoping and praying that Saban is the second coming of "Da Bear". I don't blame Bama fans for wanting desperately for their school to get back to national prominence. That I think "will" happen sooner or later, as the program has been on a downswing for a number of years, but Bama fan take heed, when you guys "do" hit that mark, hold your breath if Saban,s still there. He may be off coaching the Arizona Cardinals or someone like that the following year.

BTW, little note here. My grandfather worked at LSU for almost 30yrs. He knew "Cholly Mack" very well, and what he told him one day with a bit of a chuckle was that he and "Bear" were best of friends...but man, did the he ever hate losing to LSU. God smiled upon me and allowed me to be at the last game the "Bear" ever coached vs our Tigers...a game LSU won, and I got to witness history that day. I,ll always remember that!

How are Saban's Dolphins doing this year? 0-8 :nope:

Way to jump ship after destroying their franchise!

Alabama needs to win and needs to do it quickly, regardless of what Saban says about rebuilding. Jimmy Sexton is already on the phone and lining up the next deal.

If Alabama can't win the West or if someone offers more money...adios amigos, time for the next gig.

Alabama will be fine but to think that Saban will bring them multiple championships is wishful thinking. Although he'll recruit well, he won't be able to consistently recruit as well as he did in Louisiana. He'll also eventully have a meltdown with the Alabama boosters and media. He knows that he was a monumental failure in the NFL but his ego could temp him to try again.

I liked Cholly Mack and Da Bear...they were both well respected and good for college football and the SEC. You can't say the same thing about Little Nicky.

If you're going to hang that on him, you'd also have to at least give him some credit for turning our program around. The talent may have been here but we weren't getting it done. LSU/Saban were good for each other.

To think any coach will bring "Multiple championships" is wishful thinking. Look at the talent Miles has had the last two years; yet, Championships have escaped us- those Championships are not easy to come by. I think Saban will consistently recruit well, there's no reason to think differently- in fact, I worry about him snagging one or two from La. here and there.

Saban has a lot of respect as a coach too. Personally, I don't "Like" him but I respect his coaching abilities.

Bama has all the facts it needs to make a decision regarding these players. I'm guessing this scandal involves more players. I just hope for Bama's sake it doesn't cause probation. It would be a shame to see more problems at Bama after everything they have been through. :dis:

    That's what I'm hearing.

I was told it could be much more far-reaching than is being reported, to now.

CNS made the comment last night that the results were going to be turned in today.

It started from an investigation into another sports program and the University decided to investigate all the programs.

I don't have the knowledge of which players are suspended for how long...but, I've heard it's looking like a few will be up to four games.

That being said, it's not something I've followed that closely...basically, just skimmed different emails about it from a few on campus.
