Ed Alexander committed to LSU at the spring game....quite a while ago, he had committed and then later decommitted from LSU saying he had done it a little early. I expect this will be for good. He is 6'2" 310 DT, obviously a position of great need in this class. For the stargazers, 24/7 composite ranking has him #13 best player in the country and a 5*. On 24/7 own ratings and on Scouts both, he is a 5* and 19th best player. On Rivals, he is listed as the 38th best player and a 4*. ESPN has him as the #15 best player which would make him a 5* there also when they get around to assigning stars. This commitment moves LSU from #7 to #5 in the team rankings and now per player, LSU (94.57) is more than a full point ahead of anyone else in average ranking...Ohio State is 2nd (93.43).
