If the announcement is LSU at the all star game, then it will be LSU. That I will not be worried about. And he'll announce LSU.
I don't know...and I almost don't care. I am about as interested in this announcement as I was in the over hyped LeBron James announcement about whether he was staying in Cleveland or not. From the get-go, Collins has been playing a game about his decision and the game is full of "counter intelligence". I think it's disingenuous and I don't like "being played" so for me it's a big "Ho Hum". I hope he comes to LSU and if he doesn't (like LSUDad says)...Best of luck to you !! Someone wake me when it's over...I'm going to sleep now.
At the auburn game this year, I walked behind the auburn bench. My cousin is one of the LSU Marshalls, we were looking at the OL from Thibodaux. As we watched him during the game, the way he was looking and acting, something was telling us, he would have rather been on the other side of the field. It may have been us, his expressions and body language kind of gave him away. Maybe we were reading too much into it. Maybe he just didn't like getting beat that bad, better get use to it.
At this point, with this program, if you don't committ to the Tigers, then you probably are a me first kind of guy who is scared of elite level competition. Not saying it's that cut and dry. But it can be viewed in such a way. And if you expecting to be handed a position at LSU, Baton Rouge is not the place for you. If you want to be a "What's in it for me guy?", and not a, "I'll do anything to help the team guy", I'm sure Miles and his staff would kindly pat you on the back as you packyour bags to head out of state. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Let's set the record straight, I do think the kid is a great talent, but if he sees himself playing elsewhere, let it be said and done.
If Landon feels Alabama is best for him I don't think it means he's a me first guy or afraid of competition. All of these kids make this big decision in their own best interests.
How many top picks from the LSU secondary do you need to know what's a better fit? (With Simon, Reid, and Mathieu to Follow)! What feels more at home than actually being 20 minutes away from home. Where will you get a better chance to compete for BCS National Championships.... Because on my last count, we are working on our 3rd.:crystal::crystal::crystal:... Which no other school on the planet can claim. I don't personally know the kid at all, have no grudges against him, so claiming to know his intentions are null and void on all accounts. The purpose of my response was this: With the level of talent on this team, and the numbers of players we consistently rotate, you have to know that when you strap up with the Tigers, that you are going against some of the best in the world (credit to Miles and crew for outstanding scouting, recruiting and coaching). My point is, what other reasons do you need to be convinced that the #1 school in the country is the place to be. :tigereye::geaux:
