I think he wants his day in the sun. So let him have his fun with all of the teams bidding for him, it is only once in a life time that a young man has this happen to him. The way it looks like LSU is in the lead while Alabama is right behind them. If I had a son which was a 5 star player I would tell him to take all of his trips and keep it under rap's untill he knows for sure.
If one of my sons was a 5* recruit and even mentioned the possibility of considering Alabama, I'd disown his arse quicker than he could say RTR. Fact.
Last year La. had 87 players from the state sign to play in college, LSU got 17 of those kids. Per-capita FBS the state of La. was #1 last year. You can't sign them all. I do wish every kid from the state the best of luck.
Agreed. And I'll add - Not every kid wants to stay close to home and go to school. Some want to get away and experience something fresh and new. Everyone's dreams are the same.
I have said it many times and we ourselves benefited from this just this week. Gunner Keil - is he some turncoat who turns his back on his home state by not going to Purdue, ND or Indiana ? No its a kid who wants to experience a whole new culture, meet new people. We love him for it yet blast a few Louisiana kids who do the same. I hope he comes to LSU but if he doesnt I dont think he is "punking" louisiana. No he wants to go somewhere else. No worries. I think LSU will be fine if he goes elsewhere.
Looking really good for LSU at the moment. Just saying... Games will be played as they have from the beginning.
It isn't like he had some great choice in Purdue, Indiana, and ND. This is different. LC has the ultimate program in the BCS era a few miles down the road, as well as many friends ON THE TEAM, phenomonal coaching at his position, and the proof to back it up with the last two awards cycles. That said, if he goes elsewhere, LSU will be just fine. As for him, he'll be Tiger Bait. Good thing he's coming to LSU.
before I comment let me state "I hate Notre Dame"-the alumni and their parents are stuck up, campus is over rated thanks to NBC over head shots that make a pond look like a lake. How ever it is a great pull landing a 5 star player from ND back yard and all the pressure to go there.
