bhelm's on it, as usual. LS "makes nice" to eveyone, but he said he'd be at USC's Rising Starts camp this week, then I hear he's pulled out. I'm still not positive if he's coming or not, but it looks like not. Kid's got a lot of talent, but we have 3 "pretty good" RB's now lined up for 2010, so it's not the ned of the world if he stays close to home. Don't get me wrong, I think he's special and I'd love to get him, but let's just say I dont have much confidence that'll work out. I been calling him for LSU since day one and I still think that's the way it'll shake out. :geauxtige
Hes nothing but positive on Auburn in his interviews. So if one is to go by that and the fact he skips every camp except Auburn, you'd think Auburn has the lead for sure. However, the longer he delays his commit, the better for LSU. One reason would be Auburn might not be so good this year and another, is Reed, Lewis and Hurd all have the possibility of going to LSU. That can only help with Lache. Not to mention Ford being family and the LA connection.
This is interesting, includes someone who claims to be an Aunt: shaggybevo.com :: View topic - Well Lache was a no show at our camp again Jen Seastrunk Auntie Ninja Joined: 29 Apr 2008 Posts: 99 Posted: Tue Jun 16, 2009 5:51 pm Post subject: closetojumping wrote: He's not coming to Texas. We lack what it would take, and I am thankful for that. You should be too. I don't give a flying handshake what his aunt wants to come on here and counter otherwise. Where this guy winds up is anyone's guess, but it will be one of USC, LSU, Baylor, Auburn, perhaps a late run by a Bama or Tennessee. Those will be the players involved. Trevon Reed, Shaun Lewis, and Tony Hurd will all wind up placed at one of those places as well, if they're desired. Who knows what agents of change appear on the streets of the 2010 recruiting landscape? Those four know at least one. Lack of what it takes? And that would be what? You have no idea nor would you EVER get the chance to know what Lache is going through. He is young man trying to find his way and do what is best for him and people like you want to talk ****- I have pity on people like you and honestly you are not even worth the time that I am spending typing this. I hope that your child does not have to encounter criticism and ridicule as Lache has. With someone as negative as you, that would be awful.
Yep, that is his Aunt. Hector, is the Florida Friday Night Lights camp the same weekend as the Rising Stars camp? He is scheduled to be at the Friday Night Lights camp.
This decision was partly due to what his aunt told him about the Texas boards making accusations about his recruiting process. He was not happy in the least according to his aunt and she has also decided to not post on message boards anymore as well. Her last information given is not surprising but she did put the Lache being a silent commitment to Auburn rumor to rest. TigerRag - RECRUITING: Remaining Quiet for Now
BhelmLSU, since we have Strom Johnson commiting to us now, do you think if Seastrunk commits some where else do you think it will lighten the blow? :geaux:
2 completely different backs. LSU still needs a burner in this class to go along with Worle and Storm. Shouldn't have a impact on Lache in any way.
Sorry, brother. I been away from the board for a while and never saw this 'til now, when I came over to congratulate y'all on Storm Johnson. He's a stud and I think he'll help with Seastrunk ... if you need any, which I don't think you do. Anyway, you will know by now RSC and Friday Night Lights are not at the same time. you no doubt are also aware LS was not at RSC. Nor was Reed. Hard for me to say with any authority, but I don't get the sense USC is much in it right now for LS. We seem to be going in another direction, but I could be wrong there. (Pete Carroll hasn't called me with his weekly update yet. :wink "Common wisdom" over on our site is calling LS as LSU's to lose. :thumb:
