i don't like Hawaii or Colt Brennan and look forward to seeing them get stomped. Anyone here who thinks they are a quality team should fear La Tech this Sat, because they gave them all they could handle a few weeks back.
Well, after a what....5 hour time difference, if Tech or UGA went to the mainland for that game it's be ugly.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Hawaii in a BCS game. They could pull a Boise St and validate the hype or get crushed and prove to everyone that they weren't nearly as good as everyone thought. That'd be fun to watch, IMO.
IMHO, Hawaii will have at LEAST one loss before any bowl selections are made...likely two. But while we're talking about it, these "small" programs that have made it to a BCS game have done well, no? We all remember Boise St./Oklahoma last year...and didn't subUrban Meyer's Utah team win their BCS game...when Alice Smith was QB?
Oh, and sorry I couldn't stay on topic...but I just can't think of another bowl game I wanna see LSU in besides the one for the :crystal: .:thumb:
every dog can have his day when they have a month to prepare all of the tricks of the trade. my whole point is that boise and hawaii and utah are all garbage, because if they played "real" schedules, they would have 3-4 losses and would be in the bowl they belong in. you tell me who is more worthy of a BCS bid: Florida (3 losses, all against top 25 teams) or Hawaii, who literally hasn't played a single D-1 opponent with a winning record yet, and who has 14 point wins against 0-9 Utah St and a 7 point win against San Jose St. anyone who says they deserve to be in the BCS is only saying so because of Boise and also because they never stayed up until 2 a.m. to watch them play. Georgia would paste them by at least 24.
I wholeheartedly agree...was just playing devil's advocate with the last part of my comment. That's why Kansas isn't ranked any higher than they are...schedule. Computers are smart people! I think that's exactly the point Les was trying to make before the season in reference to USC. He never said USC wasn't good, just that they didn't play the same kind of competition that an SEC team has to face. The OOC schedule was the excuse that USC fans used to defend themselves back then...citing Nebraska on the road  as an example.
