Yeah I think USC has to drop to at least #5 in the human polls. LSU will surpass USC in some if not most of the computer polls.
Once again, LSU will have to get to 3rd (with a Florida loss) to get an automatic bid. But yes, they will most certainly be, at minimum, 4th.
Far from certain, the voters decide how far they want to drop USC. I would drop them to 7th, but that's not my call. If USC gets dropped right in front of us in most voters ballots, USC will remain ahead of us in the BCS standings. I'm going to try to do an analysis of the computer polls between USC and LSU. It will be close in most of them.
Losing to an unranked team AGAIN should drop them pretty far down. I have no doubt they will drop behind LSU even with the built in media they have.
I don't trust the voters when it comes to USC. I guess you can tell. Now if Florida loses, no way they drop USC to only 3rd in front of a 4th ranked LSU. In that case, LSU is guaranteed to be #3.
