Hey, take the lead and you get a target on your back. Much like the Tigers. Can you take Saban's advice and take it one game at a time, or will you choke like I did and not pick Mauck?
I used to go to this bar that always had a football board every week during the season. Seems like every week the owner or his wife would win at least one quarter. The wife had a baby about near the end of the season and they put the newborn kids name on a square and he won. I don't know how they did it.
Most players pick Mauck every week so they all get his points. Since the salary cap dosen't leave room to pick all the receivers I have consistently gone with the receiver who didn't have the hot hand. This week I gambled by not picking Mauck even though he should have a great game against the second worst rate pass defense in the NCAA. Maybe I will luck out this week and Clayton, Henderson and Green will all catch a lot of passes for lots of yards and touchdowns and Green will break a couple of long punt returns for TDs. I hate to not have either Vincent or Broussard on my roster though. My only hope is that Clayton and Henderson both go well over 100 yards each and both of them catch 3 TDs each and that Green gets a couple of long returns for TDs. Then, with LSU already with 56 points and the fact that another TFL player also has Clayton, Henderson and Green that when Nick emptys the bench Gino Giamballuca gets a TD. For next year can you make up some real complicated salary cap rules so that I can bend them the way Carmen Policy was able to do for the 49ers during the San Francisco dominant years?
