Forced to resign = you are fired

I'm sure it has legal implications but it always cracks me up to see where someone is "forced" to resign.

I think the entire fiasco regarding his firing at Notre Dame will finally go away after this embarrassment.

to his defense, his star QB is out for the season, I mean, they were a bad call away from maybe beating BYU in the 2nd game of the season with him there.

True, I don't understand why you fire a coach who was 11-32.

What is that, 3 wins a year?

don't put words in my mouth, bandwagon Rays fan. I never said they shouldn't fire him.

I just said they are not as bad as the 0-7 this year appears.
