Interesting. I like how he said "They were turned off by LSU" because Hostesses were sitting on the laps of recruits. Although i can buy the Les Miles being "Dry" statement.
Texas offered to 'back off' as a sign of respect.. and not visit unless requested. And his mother was 'offended'. That was all I needed to hear.. lmao. I lol'd about CLM being dry.. 'have a great day'.
Sounds like a story of a parent being out of control. I could have sworn this was the recruitment of Ms. Adams, not Jamarcus. “I’ve followed my mother and grandmother’s advice for all my life,” McFarland said. “I know they don’t want bad for me.” I feel bad for the kid.
Thanks but no thanks. The mother appears ignorant and a meddler. Too many issues of race. Miles was "dry"? This coming from a Pentecostal. You think having dinner with a coach right after getting our asses kicked might have had something to do with Miles appearing "dry". Momma wanted to have her ass kissed every single day and Oklahoma did more ass kissing (with a black coach, which mattered in this case) than Texas did. Case closed. So the decision on which college her son was to attend was based upon how many letters and e-mails she received. She's deep.
wow, no matter how you cut it that is not positive publicity for LSU. Darn it.... New York Newspaper no less...
Jackie Shipp is a good guy and a great recruiter. I bear no ill will. He's in good hands with Jackie. I would have loved to see this guy at LSU, but I'm not sure that I would want the headache his mom would bring. We've seen what that can do. I can't imagine that this guy is going to be welcomed by his future teammates if he's spilling his guts about the perks recruits and players get. He's going to be shunned for fear of his snitching when they become teammates. I don't see what the issue is with chicks sitting in guys laps, either.
