For Heroism above and beyond the call of duty, Devery Henderson should get some kind of medal that says
"Pour le Merite" on it for being such an incredible LSU Tiger football player.

He was instrumental in winning both the Ky. and Ole Miss games.

    Devery Henderson: thank you for

Fighting with the Heart of a Tiger!

    I second that notion!!

It takes alot of guts to hold onto the ball after breaking an arm. His touchdown was a tough diving catch to begin with and then add a broken arm as he hit the ground. WOW!

Maybe the rest of the team will learn from him and put their entire heart into the game. Win one for Devery! He hasn't given up on you guys...don't give up on him!

TN Tiger, I could not agree with you more. DH has laid it all on the line for the team. Hopefully, this Friday, the remaining LSU players on the field will do the same. Play with heart, the way DH does it.

Let's go to LR and roast some pigs!!

    Great thread!

Not only has Devery become a terrific receiver, but he's been a great special teams player. We'll miss him big time on kickoff returns, where he is one of the leading kickoff returners in the nation. We'll miss his tackling ability & speed to the ball on coverage too.

Some of our best athletes play special teams, and Devery is right up there at the top of the list. Let's hope he fully recovers for what should be a great 2003 season for him.

I still like watching the replay of his catch and run for the first TD in the Kentucky game. He poured it on...

If we can get consistency and accuracy at QB next season, I think he and Clayton could become the #1 WR tandem in the country...
