Benoit's across the river makes some fine beef jerky. Most folks just get the sausage and smoked meats . . but try the jerky sometime.

I like a good old "Slim Jim." Yeah, technically it's not beef jerky. It's a beef stick. Close enough for me. And, they do sit side-by-side in the stores.
Jack Links is pretty good stuff. I had a fraternity brother of mine who used to sell that stuff. He'd bring a few boxes by the house so we didn't starve or drink our selves to death. We burped beef jerkey for months.
