ROME SAYS OU'S RINGS ARE "A MERE FORMALITY"

Prior to interviewing Mike Stoops, Jim Rome says that OU is looking stronger all the time and that "their rings are a mere formality right now."

 

If everyone would stop listening to this clown, he wouldn't be a problem.

 

why do they fill time with him?

I wouldn't listen if they'd put Dan Patrick or someone on. Why does WSKR in BR insist on running his program? I HATE HIM.

 

Boy, they sure did look strong last Saturday night.

 

I'm sorry, everyone listens to Jim Rome. That's why his 4 TV shows lasted soooo long. Rome is a pillow biter.

 

It's the Howard Stern concept. Nobody likes him, but they listen to see what he's going to say next.

 

Rome is no Howard Stern. Rome is a complete ass.

When I first moved to LA, I couldn't wait to hear his show. He is extremely popular out here, not to mention almost everyone out here agrees that Rome is a man of the people a guy who really tells like it is. After a week I couldn't take it. He is all style and no substance. A populist sports radio jock, that empowers the know it all talk radio sports fan (which LA has in spades).

So, I don't think Rome is like Howard Stern. He is more like Tom Likas, another over rated shock jock from the West Coast with a huge following.

 

I hope the Oklahoma football team listens to him and believes it.

 

I was'nt aware that they gave rings for coming in second!
