It's a lot harder for me to list, say, 20 great actresses v. listing 20 great actors. Not sure why that is. I guess more interesting roles are written for men. Anyway, just thinking about it, what other actress was more accomplished? (accomplished being a more objective term than greatest).
She was the greatest. The one injustice visited on her was the lack of Oscar for the greatest love story ever filmed. Grace Kelley won one that year for a movie that did not deserve any awards. They paid her back with an EMBARASSING award for On Golden Pond. SHe deserved four Oscars, but not one for THAT movie.

African Queen was truly a great movie. It is as timeless as Butch Cassidy and better than even The Princess Bride.
