http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/Spring_Preview/Conference_Predictions.htm Will they ever learn about Auburn and BIG EARS.
Jeeeez...What a bunch of assclowns. Looks like they are olso on the Trev Alberts lovefest brown-nosing bandwagon for UGA.
UGA will be tough again next year. Our toughest game, IMO. If you step back, it makes sense for the media to pick UGA over us because we lose our QB and 2 stud WRs. They return a very good Sr QB and several starters. On paper, it makes sense. In our hearts, they are out of their minds. I want to beat them in Athens to make it a sweep -- here, there, and Atlanta. And LSU loves being the underdog. Its easy motivation.
I hope we start a streak like Florida has against the Bulldogs. By the end of the season we could already be at 4 straight, with three of those coming in the state of Georgia.
UGA is an easy pick for these dopes, maybe even a sexy pick - if they beat us then they look smart and insightful and if they lose to us then they can still be in the lovefest because they can turn it into a week long story about how things should have been like this or that - the game will be played on the field and word is that they will be keeping score just like last year... That is all we care about.

I would have to pick LSU to win the West again, not Auburn. Also, unless they just hand Carnell the award, Justin could make him earn it. Our Shaud Williams out rushed Carnell last season and we didn't do well as a team at all. The list may be being kind to Alabama though. We just finished our Spring Training camp with less than 50 scholarship players taking part. Do the math, we are seriously hampered by scholarship reductions and will be lucky to finish middle of the pack. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good though .
