Little early but i figured i would get it going... I am going with UT.. hate them.. but they are the best team that USC has played this year... Much better than Notre Dame, Fresno, Oregon.. all teams that USC trailed or played tight with... UT by 10...
I predict Mack Brown will have a full-blown case of diarrhea at least one hour before kickoff, if not sooner.
My mind says UT: Talented offense that can compete with USC + a much better defense. My gut says: USC will beat UT. Better game planning & in game adjustments will spell success for Carroll & the usual dissapointment by Mack.
I'm hoping for a Texas win, but Carroll will completely outcoach Brown before and during this game. Talent + coaching > Talent USC 38 UT 24
It could just come down to two big playmakers (Lienart and Bush) against one (Young), and the momentum USC has had over the season. Hell, they have been lucky so many times over the past two years (which has been atributed to "Championship attitude" by the talking heads) I guess anything is possible.
It stinks that one of these teams has to win. I think that Texas will make more mistakes because they'll try to force plays. When you are trying not to make mistakes, you signal your intentions and play tight. USC wins because of turnovers.
