No LSU Home Games till November?? Just heard Shepard Smith say on Fox News that we might not have any home games in Tiger Stadium till November.... :cuss:
I heard it to and its hard to believe but in my heart I know it may be the best thing while dealing with this disaster.
I mentioned this to my brother in BR earlier today and he said he thought that we might have to play all road games this year...
Best thing my ass... One game, maybe two... but no home game until November? I've settled down a lot since my initial displeasure with the postponement of the UNT game... but until I hear this from an LSU source, i say NO WAY
Dandy Don is making it sound like the ASU game will be moved as well. The team has turned their attention to Arizona State now that the North Texas game has been cancelled and I am hoping that conditions will have improved enough by this time next week to be able to say that the game will be played at LSU. If worse comes to worse, I believe that LSU will entertain thoughts of playing the game at Tempe, Arizona, the home of Arizona State. If worse comes to worse, I would like to see the game played at Independence Stadium in Shreveport which seats between 65,000 and 70,000. I do not see how they can play that game at home w/all the issues I have been hearing about in Baton Rouge. It makes me sick!!!
Guys...do you know how many refugee's we are going to be dealing with here? THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS and for WEEKS AND WEEKS. As much as I love LSU football there is no way you can justify using security resources, lodging, etc for a football game when they are needed to ensure basic survival and civil obedience.
From the NFL head offices on ESPNNEWS said that the Saints will not be able to play a home game at all this season. Just imagine the San Antonia Saints win the Superbowl.
