    Who stays and who goes?

Rumor has it the Braves will deal Tex to the D-Backs for Conor Jackson and a prospect.

If so, the Braves come out of that like heroes, considering Tex isn't much better than Jackson in the 1st place.

I'd be shocked if they agree to give up Jackson. It'll probably end up being Jarrod Parker and a couple of other prospects.

Dbacks have said no way jose on jackson but that can change in 2 days. tex is a clubhouse cancer, not the kind of guy you want to bring on for a stretch run. I'd taken Dunn if I were just renting.

Word is they are working on a deal to send Tracy to the Braves instead.

That doesn't make sense to me, since Conner and Tex both play 1B.

Jackson has also played 27 games in left field this year. I think the idea would be to move him there and let Tex take over at first.

    ok, that makes sense.

Arizona needs an infusion of another RBI bat big time as their offense has been pretty poor after getting off to a quick start at the beginning of the season. They have been probably in the bottom 5 or 6 teams offensively since mid May or so.

Their pitching is too solid to not upgrade their offense at this point.

I agree, it's the first I heard of it.

Tex appears to be a guy that would be liked by most everyone.

    Tex traded to the Angels:

    Angels: Tex
Braves: Kotchman and some minor league guy.
