All I have to say is "Wow!" App St completely dominated the first half of this game and went up at the half 28-17 AT Michigan. Michigan just looks lost out there at times. Porous secondary, d-line can't put any pressure on the QB, Henne is underthrowing receivers deep, and I believe Mike Hart is hurt.

This could be very bad for the Wolverines if they don't step it in the second half. It definitely looks like they overlooked App St.

theyre at home against a much inferior program (likely much worse team--not just program) than Miss St. the media better bash them next week, even if they come back and win. and they should drop in the polls.

id like to hear what the commentators are saying

There were a few sportswriters who penciled in Michigan for the NC game this year. I wonder if they are using their erasers right now."You can learn more character on the two-yard line than anywhere
    >else in life." Paul Dietzel / LSU:thumb:

Kinda makes us appreciate the talent that Appy St has and it explains how they were able to play us so tough.

Well, Appalachian State is usually considered to be a top tier program in I-AA. I gained a lot of respect for them after LSU played them.

They're raving about how well the App St quarterback is playing. I mean the game is on the Big Ten Network and the commentators aren't kissing Michigan's butt. I know they say that a loss early on isn't all that bad, but a loss to a 1-AA team the first game of the season - no matter how good and well respected said team is - would be downright disastrous.

I posted they will be calling coach Miles if MICH loses and it got removed....just an observation. Was the statement that far off?

We held App. St. to 0 pts in a championship year for them.

If Mich. loses, say goodbye to Les Miles. Lloyd Carr is gone.
